4 #Texas companies are suing to overturn the state’s new ban on the manufacture & sale of smokable #hemp products, which they warn will shut Texas companies out of a multibillion-dollar industry and lead to inaccurately labeled products on store shelves.
End the federal prohibition on marijuana, expunge the records of low-level drug offenders, and make sure that those most targeted by the war on drugs have equitable access to a cannabis industry that will pump billions in revenue into the Texas economy.
"(Shops have) been able to stay open, keep people employed. We hope that's able to continue. But if they take a hit to income due to the retail shops not being able to sell smokeable CBD, that could be problematic for them," she said.
